Earth Hour 2019

In March, Vianet Djenguet (nature cameraman and presenter for the BBC and National Geographic) asked the Kindly community to use Instagram to spread the word about WWF’s Earth Hour 2019.

The challenge was simple: Kindly members were tasked with uploading a photo using #Connect2Earth that celebrates the natural world near them, using the caption to describe what makes that place so special to them.

Some lucky entrants were awarded with some super, sustainable swag from WWF.

We gave away some sustainable, designer WWF swag for the most descriptive and most inspiring entries.

The purpose of the challenge was to drive awareness of Earth Hour 2019: an hour where citizens across the world come together to turn their lights off, to show a message of environmental solidarity.

Hundreds of you got involved, and together you raised awareness of Earth Hour, and WWF, helping spread the word to thousands of people. You rock!
